Bowling Ball 2009!
JULY 28, 2009 – Homegrown bands Flobots and The Fray are thrilled to announce the first annual Bring it on Bowling Ball, coming to Lucky Strike Lanes in Belmar on Friday, September 4. No ordinary fundraiser, this evening of fun, food, cocktails and gaming will be topped by a no-holds barred celebrity bowl-off to determine who really rules the lanes in D-Town.
Proceeds benefit Flobots.org, a non-profit organization that works to create positive change by harnessing the power of music and those who love it. Inspired by the energy and enthusiasm of Flobots fans, Flobots.org develops community engagement among thousands of young people across the country: From leading voter registration drives to planning community gardening and school art programs, Flobots.org equips young people to be leaders, builders and changemakers.
