Tell me, do you both seriously believe the government will kidnap you for slamming it? Tons of comedians, famous people, and even newwcasters-the ones who claim to give you a “fair and balanced” as the fox news claims- have strongly criticized the US government during every single presidency, yet there not locked up in G- Bay, and they do it millions of times more publicly than both of you.
I honestly can’t tell your political views, but they both seem to be anarchist/antigovernment-related, and they’re pretty jaded, and that’s after I read your conversation. Before you both start on how your freedom of religion, among others, are being infringed upon, think about this: who has taken away your mind? Who’s actually preventing you from worshipping what you choose to worship? Do you personally know someone who was arrested in their home because they insulted the big, bad government? This doesn’t happen in the reality that is American life. We are in possibly the most free country in the world when it comes ggggto the expression of our religiosity and our opinion of the government; in China , all religions are outlawed and the private practice of worship can get you arrested with a serious sentence. In North Korea, you criticize the government publicly, you’re good as dead. Here in America, I have freedom of religion and freedom FROM religion, so no one can force their religion down my throat. I’m also free to voice my anger on government policies such as President Obama cutting spending on NASA. Our elders are’nt just spewing clichés when they “You’re lucky to have been born here.”
